qputenv("PATH", QString("/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:" + env.value("PATH")).toAscii());
This way you can easily add new paths to find.
Use QProcess::waitForStarted() to check if the process was actually executed. If the executable was not found or the user does not has permission to run it waitForStarted will return error.</pre>
