that's kind of suboptimal. perhaps you could talk with the amaroK people about 
a solution for this.

global keybindings are very, very few given the number of applications that 
might want to use them so using them up like this may not be respectful of 
that. perhaps kscd should use the exact same global keybindings as amaroK, so 
that media players all use the same ones, with JuK complying as well. yes, 
this means that you couldn't access more than of these applications at a time 
globally.. .but there's no point in "some overlap". IMO it should either be 
no overlap (which gets very difficult, quickly) or there should be overlap 
based  on function, so that global shorcuts refer to generic actions 
regardless of the application.

juK and amaroK authors?

the patch looks fine, i'm cool with the mechanics of it. i'm concerned about 
the logistics, however. feel free to commit it to cvs to limit the annoyances 
of maintaining a patch outside of CVS, but please do so on the understanding 
that something must yet be done with regard to the consistency/collisions 
issues around the media players using global shortcuts.

no, 3.4.1 is a bug fix, documentation and translation release only. =)
