           Summary: non-global key bindings word
           Product: noatun
           Version: 2.2.1
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kde-multimedia at kde.org
        ReportedBy: j.cook at siliconriver.com.au

Version:           2.2.1 (using KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from:     (3.0)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-bf2.4

At the moment the only way i see to bind keys is to use the "Keyz" plugin.

Unfortunately ... as the description suggets ... "global shortcuts for most operations" isnt very usefull ... when you want to for example bind ...
z,x,c,v,b to
back, stop, play/pause, next

ctrl-alt-shift-right ... for next? ... yeah .. right.

what would be nice is if noatun had a "_non_-global" keys plugin

perhaps
p = play/pause
s = stop
<- = previous
-> = next
shift <- or -> for forward/back N seconds
up/down for volume

ps ... while im at it ... alt 0,1,2 for 50%,100%,200% is crap .... is should be alt 1,2,3 (or <backtick>,1,2)

over and out
