[BT] artsbuilder crash

Hi!
  This one I've already reported during April, but nothing changed,
the same crash is still there. Now I have better BT available,
so I'm posting it. It is reproducible, but for about 90% only, by
simply picking an example from the directory and starting the
synthesis. In the remaining 10%, the synthesis really starts.
  Please could somebody look at the problem ? I know that arts now
hasn't an active maintainer, but it would be shame to have the same
bug in as major and important release, as 3.1 is...
