[digikam] [Bug 475329] Initiating slide show goes to full screen black (or background color) and does not display images.

I see nothing at the bottom left. Only once, after exercising the two function
keys did a different screen display briefly (I think it was a slide show
preference screen) and there was a floatation ring (help) displayed bottom
left. I haven't been able to reproduce that particular result though.

Normally:

F1 displays "About SlideShow Plugin" window.

F2 displays "Rename" window.

Once those two function keys have been exercised and I have hit "esc" to exit
the slide show, I cannot re-initiate slide show. No response when pressing
play.

I'm running on a MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017), so no other screens.
