The only way to get Qt3 support is to compile in carbon mode, which means 
fonts suck. On the other hand, at work we have a simple Qt-only app, and that 
shows up a lot of problems still with the cocoa port... Pick your poison :-)

I've been working to get all Q3 support from KOffice and that was a long slog, 
I imagine it's going to be even harder for kdelibs/kdebase.
