<font face="tahoma,sans-serif">Going forward, you will probably want to explore doing these things in Plasma. I won't tell you that it's better, but it offers ways to do what you want and Plasma is where things are going. There is a FAQ here:<br>

Very probably these places are both wrong, because the text in the<br>
pop-up window says "Desktop Appearance Settings", but I don't find<br>
an entry with this name.<br></blockquote><br></div></div>I can not find them neither, but it remember having seen it, so probably in the development version.<br><br>Anyway, I found it another place: right-click on the desktop > Desktop: Configure > You should see the (customized) theme therer in the drop-down theme list.<br>
