I have success to report now, thanks to David, Bruce, and Kevin.<br>

I am the OP. My flavor of Kong is the same as David's and very close to
the 10.2 version Bruce reloaded. My version doesn't have the drop-down
list but only a browser button.<br>

The magic I needed was this:<br>

I'm not sure if this instruction came from David or Bruce, but it's
what I needed. The "Save View Profile Web Browsing" command is in the
Konq Settings menu "Load View Profile Web Browsing".<br>
