what's going on.
I've found the System Guard applet which does something like IceWM's
cpu/disk load monitor, but there doesn't seem to be a network traffic
monitor (at least in the default install) available with KDE. This
latter is actually the more useful of the two, and I *really* feel blind
not being able to see data flowing in and out of my machine!
Does anyone know if such an applet exists? Ideally I'd love to find out
if some KDE fan has exactly copied the (as I say very attractive in
their colorful simplicity) IceWM monitor applets.

I have not managed to get it to work yet, but there is a network option
in ksysguard. <br>
You are supposed to be able to drag it to an empty field (new work
sheet). I'm probably <br>
just missing a config option or something. anyway, from file menu open
new work sheet. <br>
<u>Under</u> file menu are the sensors. see if you have any luck with
it. <br>
Otherwise (please forgive me for "swearing" on a KDE list) there is
Gnome-system-monitor <br>
Is that a bad word or what? Works fine under KDE. I would prefer
ksysguard. If i could only <br>
get the other sensors to work.<br>
