When you edit the menu with the KDE Menu Editor, the file:<BR>

        $HOME/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu<BR>

<BR>

So, the first thing to do is check and make sure that editing the menu <BR>

results in this file being overwritten.<BR>

<BR>

If that isn't happening, check the permissions of the file and the <BR>

directory.  It is necessary that your user account have write permission.<BR>
