Control Centner > KDE Components > Session Manager
and click "Start with empty Session"
This should do the trick.

then setup the session as you would like it to be
then Start -> Save Session

This is exactly what I wanted to do. I had forgotten in my previous
mail to say that I wanted to always restart from a previous pre-defined
session (and not from an empty one).<br>
