I've installed KDE 3.4.1 on MDK 10.1 without problems, so it should
be ok with KDE 3.4.2 - I've used Konstruct, and it has to download
few libs, so maybe You can try with Konstruct too?

Whenever I installed a new version of KDE on Mandrake/Mandriva,
afterwards it was a nightmare. Probably, it would be wiser to wait for
the new version of Mandriva.

i also had a lot of problems installing the new version of KDE on my Mandriva 10.1 and since i'm trying to see if the combination of Linux and KDE and other software is easy enough to use through the wizard UI of Mandriva so i can reccommend it to my company, i've decided to wait until it matures further before doing so. OOo 2.0 is coming out and we also need to see if we can use the Base (database program) part through its wizards in order to transfer our small client database over.
