In digikam 2.8.0/kde 4.8.5 (lubuntu 12.04 with ppa), there is no more export to
remote computer ???

I check batch queue tools, but it seems there is no more way to copy/export
images to local/remote computer with a specific treatment (resize/change format
or adding/removing data as in Bug 297287 - Remove metadata option when
exporting )

Still useful to prepare images for sharing with persons or a service which is
not existing in digikam, and you don't share the image with all digikam/exif
stuff.
