Summary: Would like to be able to select photos for calendar
                    based on image tags
           Product: kipiplugins
           Version: 2.0.0
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Calendar
        AssignedTo: kde-imaging at kde.org
        ReportedBy: kde at mfraz.orangehome.co.uk

Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

In versions of Digikam & kipiplugs for KDE 3.5 it used to be possible to select
photos to add to the calendar based on things like image tags. In newer
versions you have to use the file browser which makes finding the right photo
almost impossible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Select the calendar tool and then click on the month you want to change, the
file browser will pop up and you'll have to go through all the folders looking
for the photo you want.

Expected Results:
I should be able to click on the month and then use digikam's database to
search for the right photo based on image tag, location etc.
