I am using that for the time being, but as far as I can tell it doesn't provide
the additional capabilities found in normal import tool like automatic album
creation, renaming, and remembering which files were already imported.  

For these purposes a bluetooth-enabled phone isn't really a remote computer, it
is a camera, so having the tools used for importing pictures from a camera is
important.
