Celebrate a truly British holiday April 23-27 with free appetizers at go fish!
Come out to see us with your red rose or your St. George cross flag.
St. George's Day, one of England's most historic holidays, is just around the corner,
and we're gearing up to honor our patron saint with festive cheer, British comfort
food and pints of beer. As a truly British company with two wildly popular eateries
in the area, we're proud to consider ourselves ambassadors of all things British,
including St. George's Day on April 23.
There's no better place than go fish! to celebrate that Roman soldier, regarded
as a special protector of the English and remembered for his charity, courage and
chivalry. The saint's name was shouted as a battle cry by English knights who fought
beneath the red-cross banner of St. George during the Hundred Years War that ended
in 1453.
So join us April 23 through 27 at go fish! in Rehoboth Beach and enjoy an appetizer
on the house. See coupon below.

cutting the ribbon on April 7.
Kotb is a loyal customer of go fish! - the sister restaurant also owned by Alison
Blyth. She offered her best wishes for another successful restaurant operation.
"Alison runs the finest restaurant in the area and we love talking about it on the
Today Show," Kotb said, while in coastal Delaware with her family for the Easter
weekend.

Those bright red telephone booth doors at go brit! whisper of England's past and
heritage
Everyone is raving about the décor at go brit!, from the Tube signs that characterize
our company brand to the bold but fun mural that portrays London landmarks. But
it's the British telephone box doors that everyone loves as soon as they walk in.
We have that same icon on our building at Rehoboth Avenue. Red telephone boxes -
or kiosks, to give them their proper name - disappeared from our British street
corners many moons ago. They fell out of use when Margaret Thatcher deregulated
the telecom industry in the 1980s and sold off the telephone business. That meant
any business could have a phone box of whatever shape or size they wanted.
Apart from a small number that have had preservation orders placed on them, they
have been removed from street corners up and down the land, and many now lie rotting
in scrap yards. Today there is a burgeoning industry in restoring those that still
exist. We're proud of this historic gem.
Next time you're at one of our fish and chip shops, take a picture of yourself next
to the reminiscent doors and post it on one of our Facebook pages to show the world
that Delawareans are also enamored of this English heritage.
