I disagree, I think exposing Markdown to translators is a recipe for mistake.<br>
<br>
You can not trust they will produce syntactically correct markdown, we've seen <br>
that with webpages for example where building of the webpage breaks because <br>
the translator did not understand the particular nuances of the webpage <br>
language that was being used.<br>
<br>
I would really suggest separating that markdown into pieces that don't contain <br>
much or any markdown, just plain text.<br>
