<p>Hi</p>
<p>I don't know about KDE but I know that until now, I didn't see
any software which handle the subdialects of occitan language.</p>
<p>We registered subtags on IANA registry to have a standard way to
handle this : aranes, auvern, cisaup, creiss, gascon, lemosin,
lengadoc, nicard, provenc, vivaraup
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry/language-subtag-registry">https://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry/language-subtag-registry</a>).
But as long as I know, we have been the only ones to use it until
now.</p>
<p>Is there a way to use these subtags to differentiate occitan
dialects in GCompris ?</p>
<p>Thanks<br>

<div>You can use Lokalize (or PoEdit) to easily translate

be translated:

<div>@kde-i18n-doc team: there is a potential issue with
Occitan to be handled: there are several dialects for
it:

<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gascon_language"

target="_blank" moz-do-not-send="true">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occitan_language</a>)
but they all share the same ISO code (oc).</div>
<div>They have different <a

there a way to differentiate them in KDE? Maybe like for

<div>Hi,<br>
I'd like to participate actively in the translation
of the interface and the recording of the voices in
Occitan Gascon of GCompris, like in Breton, Basque
or Catalan. I wrote to the person who started the
version in Occitan Languedoc, unsuccessfully... I'm
a little bit lost in front of how the translation of
.po files works, everything is quite confusing for
me... I really want to contribute though! Could you
tell me how, as simply as possible? Thanks in
advance!<br>
