You should try by checking if UDevManager::slotDeviceRemoved() is hit (gdb, 
breakpoint, etc.) as your device should be handled by the UDev backend now. If 
not, you'll have to dig a bit deeper in 
UdevQt::ClientPrivate::_uq_monitorReadyRed() and see if udev itself reports 
the event correctly.
