	Then I'm assuming even *with* vhans=4, ESDand aRts support other 
	protocols:: yes?  I'm still busy getting the old-tao moved to
	tao2 so I can give a buddy my older server, but in time I'll need
	help with at least NAS.  As I undrstand it, NAS is to audio what
	X is to (networked) graphics.  --I tried NAS in February; it
	failed because of a permissions problem.

	On the plus side, I'm finally joining the Twentieth  Century :-)
