<p>The reason is the double expansion of arguments in CMake, so instead of <tt style="background: #ebebeb; font-size: 13px;">if (${FOO})</tt> one should write <tt style="background: #ebebeb; font-size: 13px;">if(FOO)</tt>.</p>
