Can't we achieve the same by adding a X-KDE-... flag that is read by the host application? For instance, in KF5, Kate and KDevelop may share plugins, therefore, we introduced a X-KTextEditor-Load-Default={kate, kdevelop, ...}, which looks like a similar use case to me.</pre>
