But can I suggest a simpler approach, where you put
target_compile_definitions(ktranscripttest PRIVATE "TRANSCRIPT_FILE=\"$<TARGET_FILE:ktranscript>\"")
in the CMakeLists.txt and replace findKTranscriptPlugin() with QStringLiteral(TRANSCRIPT_FILE)? You might also want to add
QVERIFY(QFile::exists(pluginPath));</pre>
