I have a whole series of lessons already written for ktouch 1.7.1 for our
school. We upgraded our computers to mint olivia and can only get ktouch
2.0.0 which won't even import our lessons which are in xml format. is there
a ktouch1.7.1.deb that i can download or an older repository or something I
can do to get the older ktouch up and running.
Hi,

1. You can compile and install the old KTouch by yourself (tested to compile even on KDE 4.12):

ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/4.9.5/src/ktouch-4.9.5.tar.xz

2. You can try to recompile a package from Debian Wheezy:

https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/ktouch

http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/rebuilding-ubuntu-debian-linux-binary-package/

3. You can use conversion scripts to convert your data to the new version:

https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdeedu/ktouch/repository/revisions/master/show/extras/scripts

Hope that helps.

Best regards,
Yuri
