I'm a big fan of Cantor! So I will be interested in the outcome of your efforts.<br><br>I tried the subversion commands, which worked for me at the time, but it seems that the move to git is finalized. I was able to get the current working code, which seems to still be version 0.2, configure it, and compile it. The process takes about ten minutes. Here are the following command I used: <br>
<br>git clone git://<a href="http://anongit.kde.org/cantor">anongit.kde.org/cantor</a> master<br>cd master<br><br>sudo aptitude install cmake <br>OR <br>sudo apt-get install cmake( if cmake is not installed)<br><br>cmake -Wno-dev -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX="/opt"<br>
make<br>sudo make intsall<br>/opt/bin/cantor<br><br>IT WORKS!!! wot! wot!<br><br>So, getting the entire kdeedu branch now seem, to me, unnecessary, when working with the current branch of Cantor.<br><br>If I can be of any help, let me know here. Hope this saves you some time on your part.<br>

I remember having to set-up the directory specifically to compile the subversion source. I am using Ubuntu 10.10, 32 bit and KDE 4.6.2.<br>
(Cantor says version 0.2, but there is more than one version<br>
of Cantor with this version number out there.)<br>
