Hi,

My humble opinion:

What I have said is first to look deeper on how things are done and
define exactly how those sliders should work.
1) what is a slider? When I create a plot, I can check "Slider" which
offers me 4 sliders: what are those exactly?
2) The View menu -> Show sliders opens the Sliders dialog: this is not
appropriate.

For List, I see "Edit List..." for example. Could this be done the same
way and the View -> Show Sliders suppressed?
This is to be discussed. I don't really understand what those sliders
are so this is the first thing that is to be explained.
