<p>In general, the procedures here seem somewhat arcane and mysterious to a newcomer like me. Is there somewhere -- maybe in one of the wikis -- where some of the procedures are spelled out.?I'm willing to help out with fixing the documentation, but I'd also like to have a better understanding of the big picture.</p>
