Hi, one of our team members found this string in Konqueror.po:

Checking this box on at least two views sets those views as 'linked'. Then, 
when you change directories in one view, the other views linked with it will 
automatically update to show the current directory. This is especially 
useful with different types of views, such as a directory tree with an icon 
view or detailed view, and possibly a terminal emulator window.


This string explains that when you change something in one view, the change 
will have effect on the linked views.

However this is not always true in the used examples.

When linking the directory view of the sidebar with a view, the view will be 
updated when a directory is opened in the sidebar. But this does not work the 
other way around, the directory tree in the side bar does not change when 
opening a directory in the linked view.

Same with a terminal: the terminal changes directory with the linked  view, 
but changing directory in the terminal has no effect on the linked view
