<P>Please be careful while applying the patch. If you have a problem with <STRONG>tar -xjvf /usr/src/kde-cygwin-admin-patch-3.1.4-1.tar.bz2 <BR></STRONG>alternative way is:</P>
<P>1. Unzip the patch package anywhere you want.</P>
<P>2. Copy the files within admin/ directory to your admin/directory of the package you are compiling.</P>
<P>OR</P>
<P>You can do it manually while configuring:</P>
<P><STRONG>CXXFLAGS=-fdata-sections CFLAGS=-fdata-sections LDFLAGS=-Wl,--enable-runtime-pseudo-reloc ./configure ...........................</STRONG></P>
<P>But above procedures are obviously efficient.</P>
