[Kde-cvs-announce] KDE/4.14 branch forked, master is now open

KDE/4.14 has been forked from master for all KDE SC repos (except kactivities 
which won't have a 4.14 release).

Please now commit all your fixes to 4.13 (last release this week), 4.14 and 
master branches (or merge or cherry-pick or whatever strategy you use)

As was decided in the thread "KDE applications 4.14 LTS or 4.15?" on kde-devel 
4.14 will be the last KDE Applications release with exclusively KDE Platform 4 
(kdelibs4) based applications.

We plan a new KDE Applications release in December (work in progress name "KDE 
Applications 14.12") where we include both kdelibs4 and KDE Frameworks 5 (KF5) 
based applications (at the decision of the application/git repo maintainer).

As a general rule it is proposed that your master branch is switched to KF5 
work before August 2015 when the Long Term Support release of the KDE 
Workspaces 4.11 ends.
