The dependencies at this stage could be easy backed down a little if there's demand for it. Based on your feed back it doesn't seem like that's the case. I mentioned this as comment in a commit, but is it there any special reason to<br>
keep the origin/1.x branch? The main difference is a bump of requirement in<br>
master, and it can be easily satisfied by most distributions around.<br>
