usage, why don't provide TWO drop-boxes (one for each concept) instead
of just one with the exponential combination of both states?<br>

If you're aiming to have just one drop box for simplicity, I agree
with Jos that it should abstract away all details and just provide a
single "less---more" scale.<br>
