Hello, I don't want to underestimate the great work that the ligature team have done, but I wonder why KDE 4 have ligature. I mean, Okular can read a huge of file types and is a key application. So, I think that focus the development of okular instead of ligature isn't a bad idea. Please, don't take this as a bad comment, is only my personal opinion ;-).

I noticed too a few of bugs in ligature ... example : can't load the file types like gzip and bzip files, I'm checking in the bug tracker to see if anyone has reported this...

Greetings

2008/2/4, Tom Albers <tomalbers@kde.nl>:

Hi,

Ligature is currently in extragear graphics and is not building. I've contacted the maintainer. If I don't get a reaction in two weeks, I think we should move it to the unmaintained area, untill someone picks it up.

If there are any objections to this plan or if you want to work on ligature, please respond in the next two weeks.

Toma
