I guess it depends on the quality of your screen too. Looking now at the icons 
with a larger screen in the office, with good contrast, as opposed to my 
laptop's small screen in a sunny morning, I can see more differences.

In any case, fixing the blatant errors would make the icons at least usable. 
There are still a few that look broken without the filters, like krdc.png, but 
it wouldn't be a showstopper. We could start using our icons while the missing 
features in the renderer are implemented.
