bah. i'd rather not. why don't you just make a decision as maintainer of kwin. 
you seem to have a good summary together, you've heard the input of a couple 
of people from the usability side of life, these things really don't work 
well doing "design by committee", i have other things to be paying attention 
to and you already got a code improving patch out of me from it ;)
