well, we have a few things left to do before we can make that move. one of 
them is getting the feature lists which are kept in an xml format and 
automatically processed into web pages working with the new wiki. 

this change is certainly something that is front and center as The Goal for 
those working on devnew, however.

we've already talked about moving d.k.o to another domain and re-routing via  
mod_rewrite links to the old documentation section to this new domain. so we 
can certainly limit the pain.

also note that large amounts of the material linked to from d.k.o are not 
actually hosted on d.k.o. that helps in a sort of bizarre way.
