True, I vote for it to be default in 3.4 too.
I was really supprised how kghostview can mess up my pdfs.
kpdf does a great job there.

Btw, currently redhat/gnome (re)started their own pdf browser, based
on mixed sources of xpdf and ghostview, claiming they will have first
sane free pdf browser for their enviroment. These guys are blind/mad
