This causes some interesting interactions by default with the two most popular 
movie players on *nix, so should probably be reconsidered --

MPlayer and Xine, to prevent the screensaver from being activated, send a 
shift key press every few seconds.  In Xine the default is 10.  This of 
course can be deactivated on the player side, but it's rather confusing when 
you start watching a movie and every 50 seconds you have a dialog pop up 
informing you that the sticky keep settings have changed.

Would it perhaps be possible to use a different key?
