I understand everyone's arguments.  I share the concerns of Scott and crowd, 
and I also understand the benefits of having such software.  But my question 
is - why does it *have* to be associated with KDE and put in KDE CVS?  That 
won't reduce the availability of it any, and translators can still provide 
translations for it if they feel like.  For this reason I'm inclined to say 
"no", and instead, maybe it would benefit from a much looser association.  
IE, here's some file sharing software if you want it, and oh, btw, kde has 
nothing to do with this, we're just pointing you to it if you're interested.

My gut instinct is "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" - but considering 
that having an app in CVS is not a requirement for developing a KDE app...

Putting it on a place like sourceforge is probably safer all the way around, 
anyway.
