this reminds me.

3 closed bugs in keditbookmarks up to now due to some
crappy 2.96 compiler in "redhat asp 7.3" that miscompiles
basically every line of the code.

i _really_ don't want to see them as confirmed.

in fact, is there anything i can do about this?, should i 
just close them each time, or can we make a configure script
message for such people that says upgrade? its simply not
widely known that redhat used these people as guinea pigs :)
