My wife is using KDE 3.1.2 on Debian stable and every week or so I find her
machine going into swap and have to log her out and log back in to clear the
memory. After the login there is over a +100MB of free memory vs -20MB
before. My wife doesn't close her konq windows (and she doesn't do anything
other then web browse (minus kmail which I only converted her to yesterday)
). When she is done browsing she minimizes the window to use later. When I
log her back in from session managment there are quite a number of empty konq
windows that pop up on the screen, this last time is was 12.

She always clicks on the konq icon on kicker and closes the window with the
[X] in the window manager bar.

Before loggin out in top I saw quite a number of "kdeinit --silent" or "konq
- --silent" (sorry, should have written it down).

See as how not too many developers do this type of activity I figured no one
else had noticed.

- From a quick guess it seems like the windows arn't being closed on exit (which
is why the reapear on login), but will happily do anything to track down the
problem.
