It may be tempting to react against an emotional outburst (the perceived breaking of the peace), but if the underlying cause of the outburst is a lack of sensitivity in community communication, that is actually something that needs to be addressed.</p>

But when that offence has been described and explained, I feel like the worst thing you can possibly do is say "you're being too sensitive", which is what this has all boiled down to.</p>
