Description:
KMobileTools is a nice KDE-based application that
allows to control mobile phones with your PC.
It handles full SMS control, dialing calls,
phonebook, and phone status monitoring. It's also
integrated with the KDE environment, so it can be
embedd in Kontact, or import/export from and to
KAddressBook
It's based on a Motorola C350 mobile phone, but
has also a good support on all AT compliant
devices.
--------------
The long awaited 0.5.0 beta2 version is here!
Release hilights include integration with the
KDEBluetooth Framework, now the bluetooth pairing
wizard is no more required! KMobileTools new
device wizard will automatically discover
bluetooth phones, all in a simple to use
interface.
A great bugfixing work was done, avoiding most
crashes and improving communication with mobile
phones.
Also this release focuses on usability, improving
it on the above mentioned new device wizard, on
the phonebook page, which now displays also
contacts from KDE AddressBook or other mobile
phones, and adding a dialing window to let the
user control outgoing calls.
