OK - tried running startkde from the NX session this morning as suggested.<BR>It looks like KDE does start to initialise - the splash screen comes up and the initialisation icons start to appear.<BR>Before it gets very far, the connection suddenly terminates.<BR> <BR>Yes - the windows machine connects to the original NX server with no problems.<BR> <BR>Could there be a file dropping that still contains the original host name and/or IP address that does not get removed when NX is uninstalled?<BR> <BR>
