Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to make Freenx works using Fedora FC6 (Gnome) and X-Lite (SIP SoftPhone).

What I did so far:

a) Installed Feenx using the following tutorial http://fedoranews.org/contributors/rick_stout/freenx/
using yum install freenx

b) Change the SSH Port using the /etc/nxserver/node.conf file.

c) Change the node.conf file to permit ESD Preload

ENABLE_ESD_PRELOAD="1"
ESD_BIN_PRELOAD="esddsp"
#ENABLE_ARTSD_PRELOAD="0"
#ARTSD_BIN_PRELOAD="artsdsp"

d) Install the NX client from NoMachine
http://64.34.161.181/download/2.1.0/Windows/nxclient-2.1.0-17.exe

e) Connect with Enable Multimedia Support checked. After I logon using NX Client here
is my ENVIRONMENT

ESDDSP_NAME=/usr/bin/ssh-agent
ESD_NO_SPAWN=yes
ESPEAKER=127.0.0.1:8000

g) Configure the Gnome using http://www.nomachine.com/ar/view.php?ar_id=AR03D00355

GNOME

System -> Preferences -> More Preferences -> Multimedia System Selector
-> Audio -> Default Output Plugin -> Output = ESD

f) Install X-lite from http://www.counterpath.com/index.php?menu=Products&smenu=xlite

g) Execute x-lite using the following command esddsp /root/xten-xlite/xtensoftphone

when I try the first call, the audio is ok. But after 10 seconds no more audio is available
and I only get the audio again if I disconnect and connect again

What I'm doing wrong ?

I don't need use X-lite. I just wanna use a SoftPhone (SIP) with Freenx....if anybody knows another way please give me
a tip....

Thanks in Advanced
