woav. that sounds like complicated. Since I and my father are using the
remote desktop thing and he needs to only click an icon and be set. Its
ashame that FREENX couldnt be the answer to my wishes and apperantly my
server will have to remain Win2k3 server :(
As long as something faster is offered. This is sad thing 4M. Since I
was really looking forward to deleting Win2k3 and just have UBUNTU
DAPPER configured as a SERVER

On 03/07/06, Alastair Johnson <alastair@solutiontrax.com> wrote:
can be taken over by a remote client. If you set the server up to autologin
to a guest account that can only run the nxclient it would give you something
very similar to a login screen. Note that I haven't tried running it like

If not, you can ssh into the server and suspend the existing session:
nxserver --suspend <username>
This would suspend all sessions for that user, but you can do this by
individual session if you have multiple sessions open. Now (after a short
pause...) you can connect with the client and resume the suspended session.

On Monday 03 July 2006 18:50, Tomi wrote:
> Let me see if I understand U correctly:
>
> I install NX client on the server. And then thru it connect to nxserver.
