I can't see anything from 2007 but there is a posting from 2006
where Fabian says he isn't going to support it because he can't
see a reason for it . . . .

It still isn't in any disro I know about, and I don't see
anyone asking for it since 2006
but
its a trivial exercise to enable it, so I'll post a diff -u
of my changes ( made to /usr/bin/nxnode), so you can have fun
setting it up for yourself ;-)
