Did you edit the node.conf settings that control shadow sessions and the 
console? I'm not an expert and don't know exactly what needs to be set, but I 
did have this working on a Centos-packaged version.   One other issue is that 
the client needs to match the color depth - and coming from a windows client the 
screen size might have to match or have more available space.
