[FreeNX-kNX] Can FreeNX connect to local session?

Is it possible to use FreeNX to connect to a local session (like vnc does)?
Meaning if I am sitting in front of my terminal and I open up Firefox, can I
then connect to that same session using FreeNX to use that instance of
Firefox instead of opening up a whole new instance in a new session?
