My first experiences with NX 3.0 aren't quite that happy.

* They've managed to once again break migrating sessions from
Linux to Windows clients, apparently. Fails to open the dis-
play, with loads of reloadVisual errors in the session log.
This used to work with 2.1 in the same setup, so it's a ma-
  jor regression.

* It still seems to suffer from the same endianess problems
that have plagued NX since I started using it. Starting a
session with the PPC client on an x86 server, suspending
and resuming it screws up text rendering, probably because
the cached glyphs aren't flipped correctly. Unfortunately
migrating a session from a Linux x86 client to the OS X
PPC client is also broken now (see first problem up there),
but I assume that even if it would work, I'd see the same
rendering problems there, as I always did with 1.5-2.1, too.

The new scripting hooks are a welcome addition; I hope that
will allow me to replace my hackish solution of a self-writ-
ten daemon using inotify to watch NX' on-disk db and trigger
stuff that way on status changes.

I briefly tried the new nxserver --startsession command to
start a session on generic remote X server listening on TCP
but couldn't get the authentication to work, might be that
I did something wrong, though. I'll play around with it some
more.

The migration problems are showstoppers, however, that will
force me to go back to 2.1 for the time being. It's really
frustrating to see no movement on age-old issues, and even
stuff that was fixed once breaking again.
